Marc Koegel Photograph

Join internationally acclaimed photographer Arthur Meyerson and award-winning photographer Marc Koegel for a unique and unforgettable journey to Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Barcelona and through northern Spain's region of Catalonia.

Spain is a country steeped in history and alive with flamboyant culture. Blending old world charm and cosmopolitan cities this Northern region will intoxicate your senses with its stunning architecture, rich imagery, wonderful people and weather.

Our explorations begin in Madrid, Spain's fascinating capital city. One of the most attractive cities in all of Europe it pulses with lively energy. A myriad of amazing images can be found around every corner as you explore the highlights. Along with Madrid we will also spend a day shooting the UNESCO World Heritage site, the city of Toledo.

After leaving Madrid, we will continue to Cordoba and Seville, where we will be photographing and exploring magnificent mosques, one-of-a-kind buildings and gardens. We’ll also visit historic quarters, alleys, squares and whitewashed courtyards offering great street scenes and lifestyle photo opportunities. Cordoba was also declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its extensive historical heritage.

After we leave Seville we will travel by high speed train to make our first stop in Barcelona. We’ll explore the bustling streets, the "Las Ramblas", which start right outside our Hotel. Among the many sites to photograph will be the famous "Sagrada Familia", a giant temple designed by the master architect Antonio Gaudi.

Leaving Barcelona we’ll be on our way to Llanca, an authentic fishing village located on the coast near the French border. Exploring this unique coastal region we’ll photograph Cadaques (the birthplace of Salvador Dali), Tossa De Mar, and Besalu with its fortified pedestrian toll bridge, dating from the eleventh century.

A visit to the Dali Museum in Figueres is also on our agenda. Our Tour will end in Barcelona where we’ll immerse ourselves in the "Festival De La Merce", Barcelona’s biggest annual festival. We will enjoy a traditional Flamenco show and an authentic Catalonian style dinner in the harbor of Barcelona.
