Your instructors Walter Luttenberger and Marc Koegel will combine their forces, and their experience, to guide you. Walter has a strong background in architecture and design. He works in both black and white and color. Marc shares Walter's enthusiasm for architecture and design, and works exclusively in black and white.

Both Walter and Marc have in common an excitement for the art and science of photography as well as their desire and enjoyment of teaching and inspiring others.

We hope that our paricipants will enjoy and gain from having both Walter and Marc guide them.

Each year over a million tourists visit the Tofino area making it one of British Columbia’s premier destinations.

Tofino is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia, Canada. At Tofino's doorstep is the Clayoquot Sound region, a world UNESCO biosphere reserve. This area also boasts one of British Columbia's most prized nature reserves, Pacific Rim National Park. Tofino offers one of the best opportunities to experience BC's pristine wilderness first hand.

Just imagine the infinite number of photographic opportunities! This workshop is very much focused to provide you with as much time in the field as possible. Expect to take at least twice as many pictures as you think you will!

Walter Luttenberger:

WALTER LUTTENBERGER, PHOTOGRAPHER

My training as a photographer began in 1989 at the Petek Advertising Photography Studio in Graz. After finishing my apprenticeship, I moved to the then largest studio for advertising photography, Croce & Wir in Graz. There I worked as a photo assistant for 2 years and learned a lot from my talented colleagues.

Through my passion for architecture and design, I began my education in large format photography during my independence in Frankfurt, Germany. This focus on architectural photography led to the founding of my own company Walter Luttenberger Photography after my return to Austria in 1995.
With a focus on architectural, interior and reference photography, I began to build up a clientele among architects, interior designers and companies active in the construction industry.

In addition, I taught young students in the fields of architectural and above all landscape photography at the Academy of Applied Photography. Subsequently, this led to my own workshops for landscape photography from 2014. In 2018, I finally founded the photo trip, for the purpose of organizing up to 14 photo trips and workshops per year. Interested photographers benefit from my many years of experience both as a photographer and as a trainer and workshop leader.
