** Olympics Scheduling**
Please note: All our 10 Week classes starting in January will have a two week break Feb. 12th-28th to accommodate the 2010 Olympics. Classes will resume March 1st.
This 10 week 30 hour course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of the practical aspects of working with lighting both in studio and on location.
We will also begin the investigation of light controls both from a practical as well as a theoretical point of view.
This is an intensive hands-on class that combines theory with lots of shooting and feedback. You will be photographing a range of subjects from still life to portraits, in studio and on-location.
We will develop safe and pragmatic approaches to setting up and working with studio strobe equipment. You will learn how to light your subjects with confidence and precision.
We will be using a digital camera for demonstrations but you will be expected to use your own camera for the studio shoots. You may use either film or digital cameras in this course.

"Thank you for a great course today - in Practical Studio Lighting. I love the one-day format and the way you managed to cover so much in one day with a lot of clarity and depth.
It was a very useful overview for me plus I had a lot of fun in the afternoon with the models."
"Finally a workshop that uses equipment that is actually being used in the industry today. I loved the Beauty Dish and the Ringlite the most. Tons of great experience and lots of fun working with the models."
