Marc Koegel Long Expsoure Image
** Olympics Scheduling**

Please note: All our 6 Week classes starting in January will have a two week break Feb. 12th-28th to accommodate the 2010 Olympics. Classes will resume the week of March 1st.

This one-of-a-kind course will teach you all about black and white photography.

Deceptively simple, it truly takes a refined eye and solid techniques to produce black and white imagery that really stands out.

We see the world in colour and most images we take start out that way as well. However, what works for colour photography rarely works for black & white. Through lectures, field trips and shooting assignments this course is designed to give you the tools to create dynamic and effective black & white images.

In order to achieve this goal we will work on the way we see in black and white. We will examine the work of some of the great masters of the medium, and concentrate on shooting as much as possible.

Your instructor Marc has been shooting black and white ever since he started his photography career. He has had the privilege to work with some of the great Masters of the medium including Ralph Gibson, Greg Gorman and Mary Ellen Mark. Marc's award-winning black and white imagery can be seen on his website by visiting www.MarcKoegel.com
