Vancouver Photo Workshops proudly presents a five day (four nights) exclusive photography tour, "The Best of Vancouver, Victoria and Tofino" with internationally acclaimed photographer Arthur Meyerson and Marc Koegel.

Join award-winning photographers and experienced instructors Arthur Meyerson and Marc Koegel for this outstanding opportunity to photograph not just one but several of the most beautiful places in the pacific northwest. Take advantedge of the expertise and guidance of 2 instructors at once!

Each year over a million tourists visit Vancouver, Victoria and Tofino, making these areas British Columbia’s premier destinations.

For this exclusive photo tour, we start in Vancouver. We meet at the Vancouver Photo Workshops studio facilities for introductions and an inspirational lecture and presentation by Arthur and Marc. We head out to take pictures at a popular local public market, as well as along the picturesque waterfront and Stanley Park.

Before the end of the day, we board a ferry to travel to Victoria. We spend the next day photographing around the capital of British Columbia (Victoria), choosing subjects ranging from the water's edge to magical flower gardens to historical architecture as well as the local people.

The next day will have us on-route to Tofino and the Clayoquot Sound region, a world UNESCO biosphere reserve. Tofino offers one of the best opportunities to experience BC's pristine wilderness first hand.

Just imagine the infinite number of photographic opportunities! This photo tour is very much focused to provide you with as much time in the field as possible. Expect to take at least twice as many pictures as you think you will!

Take advantage of this great photographic opportunity. As we expect this trip to sell out quickly, act now to avoid disappointment.

Marc Koegel has been internationally recognized for his black and white landscape and architectural long exposure photographs:

Marc has been photographing since his early teens, and teaching since his early twenties.

After graduating with an economics degree, Marc decided to pursue photography full-time and earned a diploma in professional commercial photography. He started tecahing within months of graduation, and opened his own photography school a short year thereafter. Vancouver Photo Workshops was incorporated in 2004, and in those 10 years has grown to be largest family owned photography training facility in all of Canada.

In 2007, Marc was commissioned to put together Canada's first all-digital, fully accredited, full-time photography diploma program. He served as the department head and lead instructor until 2009, but still teaches courses there today.

Since 2006, Marc has been teaching his fine-art long exposure photography techniques to 1000's of students in the traditional classroom setting, and since 2011 he has added an online course that has attracted students from over 26 countries.

Marc's photography has won several international awards including the IPA (International Photo Awards), Spider Awards and PX3 (Prix De La Photographie Paris). Marc's work has also been featured on numerous web sites and photography blogs and recently on the Phase One website.
