Workshop course description provided by Arthur Meyerson:

This workshop is designed for both amateur and professional photographers wishing to strengthen their abilities to see and work in color.

It is similar in its focus and content to Arthur's popular "Color of Light" Workshops he teaches at Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, The Maine Media Workshops and in Vancouver with Vancouver Photo Workshops.

However, this workshop will take out of the familiar surroundings of North America and introduce you to the incredibly visually stimulating environment of Madrid, Spain. Get ready to learn and be inspired!

Through daily shooting assignments, critiques, and discussions, participants acquire techniques to become more sensitive to light and its effects on color, composition, texture, pattern, and design.

Our main focus is on investigating color from a personal point of view, as we'll travel and photograph together some of the most beautiful sites and places in Madrid, Toledo and Cordoba.

Arthur guides and inspires participants to see how their unique vision of the world can help to develop and refine an individual style for personal enjoyment or commercial success.

The workshop begins with a review of each photographer’s images and a discussion of personal and career goals. In addition to addressing the aesthetics of color photography, Arthur leads group critiques and spends individual time with each participant. Daily assignments put classroom techniques into practice and take advantage of the stunning light and color of Madrid, Toledo and Cordoba..

This will be Arthur's 4th year teaching at Vancouver Photo Workshops. He will teach a similar workshop this year in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and he'll also head up an incredible photo tour to Spain immediately following his Madrid Workshop.

Participants will leave at the end of the workshop with a more dynamic portfolio, a greater awareness of their strengths and weaknesses, new technical skills, and an enhanced sensitivity to light and color.

This exclusive Workshop is limited to only 9 participants!
