Vancouver Photo Workshops Proudly Presents:

Internationally Acclaimed Photographer

Gregory Heisler

From New York City

In an exclusive, intimate 5 Day Workshop:

"Choice"

May 19th to 23rd, 2008

Vancouver Photo Workshops proudly announces a five day workshop, "Choice" with internationally acclaimed photographer Gregory Heisler to be held from May 19th to 23rd, 2008. Set in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to expand your visual horizons under the guidance of one of the great masters in contemporary photography. Take part and experience a renewed sense of energy, inspiration and vitality in your photography.

Gregory is a sought-after lecturer and teacher at scores of international seminars. Nationally, he has taught at the International Center of Photography (ICP) and The New School for Social Research, the National Geographic Society, The Smithsonian Institution (Masters of Still Photography Program), the William A. Reedy Memorial Lecture series, and in the Master of Fine Arts Program at New York's School of Visual Arts.

While his principal focus is portraiture, Gregory's enthusiasm, curiosity, and drive bring him an unconventional range of projects. His love of the craft, manifested in his "hands-on" approach to every aspect of the photographic process, keeps him intimately involved in the creation of his imagery.

VPW is very proud to have the opportunity to bring Mr. Greg Heisler into town AT THE SAME TIME as his good friend Jay Maisel. There will be opportunities for students to visit both workshops, and we will organize a panel discussion and public lecture presentation to feature both of these great photographers! Watch for more news on this event posted soon!

This workshop is an unparalleled opportunity for the Pacific Northwest photographer who has been interested in the many high caliber photography workshops on the east coast, but found the cost for travel and accommodation to be prohibitive.
