NEW and Improved! On-Camera Flash Photography Workshop:

"Awesome Workshop! I am finally understanding my flash after a couple years of owning one."

"After having taken many photography courses elsewhere I still was not comfortable using my flash - I learned more in a few short hours than over months taking other classes. Thank you for a great course with lots of real life advice"

This series of Basic Photography Workshops is for everybody looking for a great introduction to the fascinating world of photography. Whether this is the first ever photography course you want to take, or you are looking to refresh your skills, this collection of Workshops will give you a solid foundation in photographic theory, technical skills and real-world applications.

In this hands-on Workshop, your skilled instructor Aura McKay will teach you everything you need to know about using your flash effectively and efficiently. Topics covered will include properties of on-camera and off-camera flash systems, why to use flash in your photography, definition and proper use of fill-flash, dragging the shutter technique, and using your flash for creative effects.

After our first meeting in the AM, the afternoon session will be spend with lots of hands-on shooting exercises. You will also have a chance to use some of the latest Flash equipment and valuable buying advice.

You will apply your newly acquired knowledge into actual shooting exercises, designed to make you feel more comfortable using your flash equipment. Your instructor Aura will focus on showing you fill-flash techniques indoors and outside, using dedicated on-camera flash units. Results will be evaluated and discussed in detail, and there will be time for lots of questions and reference to specific flash equipment.

Whether you are using film or digital, you will learn how to be in complete control and achieve the results you are looking for!
