That was a great article Dan.

One of my students had an image of theirs taken and slapped with someone else’s copyright & logo. The photo is being used to promote this other photographers work.

People NEED to read this article.
People NEED to understand usage as well as fees.

Well said!! Shooting as a hobby is fantastic, fun and rewarding! Turning that passion into a business is a whole other cup of coffee, there’s a lot to consider that goes well beyond taking pretty pictures. If you’re considering starting a photo business, you must become a business person, period.

That’s very beautiful, Syx. It really struck a cord with me (I love Ben Harper!) as I sat at my partner’s, – Brendon – bedside (he was a cyclist who was struck by a red-light-running car)for 6 weeks in November/December at VGH/GF Strong. It was a very humbling experience, to which I have realized that life really is so fragile. Thankfully he has made a full recovery. That is wonderful that your Mum was discharged.
