VPW is comprised of a carefully selected team of industry professionals who pride themselves in their ability to inspire and share their unique vision and style with each and every one of their students. Each instructor is dedicated to let their students enjoy both the technical as well as the creative aspect of photography. Our courses offer valuable insights into the essential theories of the art with strong focus placed on hands-on learning in true-to-life professional photographic environments in studio and on location.

Through strategic alliances with a hand picked list of sponsors and industry partners, we are proud to offer you a complete and professional learning experience unique to the West Coast. Together, we are proud to offer seminars, workshop and courses held in professional working photography studios, state-of-the-art meeting facilities and even local (photography) galleries. You will be trained using the latest technology, soft- and hardware issues available on the market.

What we offer:

VPW realizes the rising need for flexible training options, so to better fit your busy schedule we offer many learning options.

• Our Seminars are between 2 hours and 1 day in length, and are focused to provide you with very specialized training in your chosen field. This is a great option for those looking to advance their skills in very specific areas of photography with a minimum of time commitment. Learn only what you need, quickly and effectively!

• Our Workshops are 1 day to 10 days in length, and are focused to provide you with an in-depth knowledge in your chosen subject. Let yourself be completely immersed in this experience and come out of it as a better photographer. Benefit from valuable insights into essential theory of the art, coupled with ample learning opportunities through hands on practice in studio and on location. Share your new skills and experiences and benefit from valuable feedback and support from the other participants. Our Workshops are designed to offer a truly unique learning experience, and are ideal for those wishing to significantly advance their skills in a short period of time.

• Our Courses are designed to provide you with yet another alternative learning experience. Based on the traditional model of continued education, we usually meet once a week over a period of 5 to 10 weeks. You love photography but only have a limited time each week to commit? Then one of our courses might be your best choice! Like our Workshops, our courses are designed to leave you with a thorough understanding of essential theory, while leaving enough time and opportunity to practice your newly developed skills in a professional studio setting or on location.

• Our Travel Workshops are a truly unique experience on the West Coast! Taking advantage of our spectacular scenery and diversity of photography destinations, we take you out for an experience of a lifetime! Our Travel Workshops are intimate, in-depth and geared towards leaving you with an extraordinary set of valuable skills and knowledge about both photography and newly discovered places.
